Hi everyone!!

It’s been a long time since I have post anything and I’m really sorry about that.😔 In the last days or even years, my life haven’t been easy and I’ve been passing throw very hard times.🤧 With so much going on in my life I haven’t been able to keep up with my blog but I promise that from now on I’ll be more active and I’ll keep you always inspired. In fact, writing for you guys makes me happy and satisfied and I really thank you for that. I just ask you please help me keep motivated and I promise I’ll give you great ideas!

For people that are passing throw hard times as well, all I can say is keep fighting because it’s the only way to live life. I know, trust me, that this is very hard and that many times fighting is really tiring and it seems pointless. But nothing that you do in your life it’s pointless, everything has a meaning and somehow it contributes to your future. Think of this as a test that life has done to you to make you stronger in order to value things and to give you a bigger happiness than before. Because happiness is just moments that we find in little things. Remember that nothing is forever and that all your pain and sadness will disappear because time cures everything.

My top 10 healthy and delicious snacks

Have you ever felt hungry while watching your favourite serie?? However it’s in the middle of the afternoon and you don’t want an actual meal?? You just want to snack!! As we all know, most of snacks are super unhealthy because they are full of salt, fat and sugar. Well, from now on you won’t need to feel guilty for snacking because today I’m going to present you my top 10 healthy and delicious snacks.

1. Sweet potato chips

Now you can’t have the excuse that healthy snacks are not sweet. This is a very simple snack where you just cut the sweet potato in vey thin slices and put them in the oven with just a dash of olive oil and some aromatic herbs (I normally use thyme). Wait a few minutes and its crunchy and ready to eat!!

 

2. Raw vegetables sticks with hummus or avocado mayonnaise

I must admit that this snack it’s probably the strangest one, but never judge the book for its cover!!! As I’m an hummus and avocado lover (check out my post of healthy mayonnaise in just 5 minutes) I absolutely love this snack!! The combination of the raw sticks (I prefer carrot and celery sticks) with hummus and avocado is just simple and perfect!!

 

3. Energetic bars

These energetic bars are amazing because they are gluten free, vegan, raw and without sugar. However, since the main ingredient is dates, they are super sweet. My favourite is with cacao because it seems like I’m eating chocolate when I’m actually being healthy!!

 

4. Crunchy chick pea

This snack is super easy and full of protein, you just need to cook the chick pea in the oven with some salt, paprika (I personally love the taste of paprika with the chick pea) and a dash olive oil. Wait a few minutes and there you have a delicious and crunchy snack!!

 

5. Dried fruit

You probably knew already about this snack but I’m going to add it a little more taste by dry it with some cinnamon and pepper. These ingredients make the fruit more tasty and sipcy so be careful with the amount of pepper.

 

6. Heatlhy popcorns

Did you know that in the cinema popcorn are super unhealthy due to the enormous amount of sugar, salt and fat that’s added? However, who doesn’t love them and still eat them anyway?? If you want to be healthy and still eat tasty popcorn, I have the solution. First, cook them at home. Second, instead of using oil, use some coconut oil or some vegetable butter. And finally, instead of adding sugar, sweet them with natural sweeteners like maple syrup, agave syrup, stevia… If you want to give them a special and tasty touch, I recommend to add some peanut butter on the top. Trust me it’s amazing.

 

7. Nuts

Just nuts?? Yes, they are delicious but most important they’re super nutritious and important to guarantee some fatty acids like omega 3 and 6. Although, be careful with nut allergies they can be really dangerous (personal experience).

 

8. Puff cereals

Puff cereals… Just perfect to eat in yogurt or smoothie bowls. They are crunchy, delicious and now pretty much availed in all supermarkets. Although, be careful with the sugar, I recommend the ones with honey. If you want, you can do them at home too, it’s super easy. You just need to choose a cereal like millet, oat, rice, spelt… and with a dash of honey or another sweetener put them in the oven. Wait until they grow (puff) and its ready to eat!!

 

9. Banana and oat cookies

These cookies are made with simply two ingredients, banana and oats!! To do them you just need to smash banana and add some oat. Personally, I love to season with some cinnamon and lemon zest. After, just put it in the oven and that’s it. Does it sound real??

 

10. Fruit soaked in chocolate

Who doesn’t love chocolate and fruit?? Now try them together and its an explosion of flavour in your mouth. You just need to melt some chocolate, I personally use the 80% cacao and vegan chocolate, and enjoyed with some fruit!! Simple and delicious.

 

Now you have lots of sweet, crunchy and healthy alternatives to conventional snacks so just snack all you want. I hope that it was useful and that you’ll enjoy my favourite snacks as well as I do.

What about your future??

Nowadays, we live in a society where must have perfect grades, to be dedicated, to have a social life, to have hobbies… and still to enjoy ourselves. How are we supposed to be a nice and healthy person?? I remember that on my first day of eleventh-year, teachers talked about the future 43 times in just one day. It seems surreal. I mean, everyone is always pressuring us to study and to do everything perfect, but it’s hard to do everything without breaking, we are not machines. After all, what is perfection? We are always seeking for this indefinable and relative thing. Why is the society always demanding this impossible perfection if it is so imperfect itself? We must have perfect grades, to be dedicated, to have a social life, to have hobbies… and still to enjoy ourselves?? How are we supposed to be a nice and healthy person??

Because of this mindset, the new generations are growing more and more obsessed with grades and all kind of numbers, increasing bad competition and even corruption. It’s ridiculous that for you to enter in a good university, in addition to the perfect marks, you need to have a good name. They don’t care if you are a dedicated, a good person or if you have hobbies…, they just care about your marks and if you have relations with important people, but a person is so much more than that.

I think that society is forgetting that the new generations are still children and they need to live and enjoy their childhood and their teenagerhood in order to be healthy adults. Since the new generations are the future, and the society keeps educating them this way, we are creating a sick and obsessed future society that is already causing a lot of bad consequences to humanity.

After all, what is the future?? We live our lives so obsessed with the future and when we have conscience of ourselves, we lived a life without living. We don’t know what’s going to happen in ten seconds even less in ten years.

In conclusion, my advice is to have a notion of what are your passions and interests to the future and to work hard for it. However, with moderation, because moderation is the key to harmony and balance. That’s what we need, an harmonious and balanced future. Though, never forget to enjoy this exact moment as much as you can because always remember that you only live once and that this moment will never happen again. The present is the only thing that you are sure and that you are actually living. The past is in the past and the future is unpredictable, so live in the moment and enjoy life in its best.

How to start a bullet journal??

Welcome to my first bullet journal tutorial!! Today I’m going to show you which materials you’ll need to start the bullet journal and the first three essential topics, the index, the key and the future log.

First, you’ll need a note book. It can be whatever you want, but for me the dotted is the best one because it helped me to keep a better and organized presentation. Moreover, you’ll need two types of pens, some of them to colour and others to write and draw. To colour, if you want your bullet covered in colourful hand-lettering and doodles, the brush pens are the best option. To do the outlines and to write, I recommend the 0.1 to 0.5 black pens (I used Micron,uni pin and staendtler, excellent quality).

Finally, don’t forget to use a ruler and lots of cool stickers!!! However never forget that your supplies won’t make you more effective, your mentality does so always face it with a positive mind and don’t worry if it goes wrong, the most important thing is for you to enjoy yourself!

Now let’s get to work and make the index!!The index is where you register all the topics of your bullet so that you know in which exactly page is the aspect of your life that you want to analyse. You will fill the index as you go through the year, so it will only finish when you end the notebook.

The key is where you “translate” all your bullets so that you and anyone can understand your bullet organization. As you can see, in the key I have a bullet to tasks, to a completed task, to a migrated task (when you postpone it), to notes, to events, to cancelled events, to prioritization, to birthdays and finally to work deadlines. You can do more bullets if you want, but here’s an advice, concentrate on what you really need in order to get it clear and understandable.

The future log is where you have a big picture of your whole year so that you can organize your present in order to keep up with your future events like birthdays, appointments… This way I promise you won’t forget anything, and you will absolutely have a clear and more organized vision of your life.

Healthy mayonnaise in just five minutes

Hi mayonnaise lovers,

Have you ever thought that mayonnaise can be heathy??The answer is yes!! I found this recipe on one of my favourite culinary books, vegetarian to celebrate, and it’s amazing. I mean how could it not be, its VEGAN and its base is AVOCATO which is so delicious and one of the most nutritious foods ever!!avocato

Like I promised in social media here is the recipe:

 

  • 1 big ripe avocado
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1\2 lime or lemon (juice)
  • 1 soup spoon of olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of corianders
  • Black pepper
  • Oreganos

 

 

  1. Put in a cup the avocado pulp, garlic, salt, the lemon or lime juice, olive oil and the corianders;
  2. Grind until the consistency is creamy and season with some oreganos and black pepper.

This recipe fits with everything from bread to salads and it’s ready in five minutes! Does it sound real? If you want to find out, try it and tell me what you think!!

Bullet journal. Wait, what’s that??

Are you always postponing and forgetting your friends and relatives birthday?? Do you want to organize your life but don’t know how?? Well don’t worry, in this post I’m going to show you how to end methodize your life with just a simple note book and lotsss of creativity. The key, it’s a bullet journal!! Wait, but what’s that?? Most of the people doesn’t know about it, even though I think this should be more divulgated. Because for me, it’s a powerful tool that improved and changed my whole lifestyle and I hope that it helps yours as well.

A bullet journal is an organization method where you can concentrate every aspect of your life like your whole past, present and future agenda, to be in contact with all your events so that you won’t forget anything.

However, there are much more utilities that the bullet journal has like keeping track of your mood, movies, series, books, habits, life goals and many other things that you could want to control in your life.

The potential of the bullet journal is endless, since it’s just a normal white notebook where everything is designed and organized in your way. This is the main difference between the bullet journal and a normal agenda, where you are restricted to its topics.

The recipe of the vegetable sweet pie. Finally!!

Hi kitchen lovers,

Like I promised, here is the vegetable sweet pie:

  • ½ eggplant
  • ½ courgette
  • 50g spinach
  • 1 big tomato or 5 soup spoons of tomato sauce
  • 1 laurel leaf
  • 2 soup spoons of white wine
  • 2 soup spoons of sunflower seeds
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Parsley
  • ½ pepper (I used the green one but you can use whatever you want)
  • Pepper, dry basil, cummins, sweet pepper
  • Salt and olive oil
  • 1 stick of leek

Smashed potatoes

  • 1kg sweet potato
  • 1 soup spoon of melted vegetable butter
  • 1 soup spoon of tomato sauce
  • Salt
  • Nutmeg
  • ½ cup of unsweeted almond milk

 

1. First dice the eggplant, the courgette, the leek and cut the onions in narrow strips. Then, chop the tomato, the garlic cloves and separate the spinach leaves;

3. In a frying pan, braise the onion and the garlic cloves with a dash of olive oil until it softens. Add the tomato, the leek and the laurel leaf and let them cook for 5 minutes. After this, add the eggplant, the courgette, the green pepper and season them with pepper, sweet pepper, salt, white wine, cumin, basil and sauté it for a few minutes;

4. For the smashed potatoes, cut them in pieces and boil in water with salt until they are fork tender. Drain the water from the potatoes, smash them and add the milk and the butter. Season with some nutmeg;

3. Put half of the smashed potatoes in a baking dish until it covers the bottom. Then, on the top of the smashed potatoes put the vegetables and cover it with the rest of the smashed potatoes. Just for perfection, smooth it with a turner;

4. Smear it with some olive oil, tomato sauce and add some sunflower seeds;

5. Put the baking dish in a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes or until it sears the top a bit. Finally, serve it with some fresh parsley and a big smile.
